Recruitment Consultant - Birstall

Join a Growing Force in Nursery Recruitment!

Nexter Nursery Recruitment is making waves in West Yorkshire, connecting great nursery staff with great nurseries. Since launching in April 2024, we've rapidly become the go-to agency for many nurseries seeking temporary and permanent staff, specialising in sickness cover, interim placements, and permanent hires. We're now looking for a driven and relationship-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help us reach even greater heights.

About the Role:

This isn't just another recruitment job. We're building something special at Nexter, and this role is crucial to our continued success. You'll be at the forefront of our sales activity, developing long-term partnerships with nurseries across the region. This means:

  • Relationship Building: Proactively connecting with nurseries, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored staffing solutions. This is a sales role that prioritizes building trust and long-term partnerships, not just hitting targets.
  • Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and expanding our client base through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Full Recruitment Cycle Management: From sourcing and screening candidates to arranging interviews and managing offers, you'll own the entire recruitment process.
  • Utilising Cutting-Edge Technology: We use Zoho Recruit, Zoho Workerly, and our in-house compliance system, Omiga, to streamline our processes and give you the tools you need to succeed.
  • Social Media Engagement: Contributing to our social media strategy to attract top talent and build brand awareness.

What We're Looking For:

We're not necessarily looking for someone with direct nursery recruitment experience (although it's a bonus!). What we value most is:

  • Proven Sales or Business Development Experience: A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving revenue growth. B2B experience is highly desirable.
  • A Relationship-Focused Approach: You understand that sales is about building trust and delivering value over time.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You can communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • A Proactive and Driven Attitude: You're a self-starter who takes initiative and is passionate about achieving results.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, social media platforms, and other digital tools.
  • Organised and Detail-Oriented: You can manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain accurate records.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued.
  • The opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing and successful business.
  • Comprehensive training on our systems and processes.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package (specify details if possible, e.g., base salary, commission structure, benefits).
  • The chance to make a real impact on the early years sector in West Yorkshire.
  • Free parking.
  • Free lunch Fridays.
  • 40 hour week (7am-4pm or 9am to 6pm) with option to work from home 1 day per week.
  • Initial 6 month contract with the option to go permanent.
