In response to growing concerns about nursery staffing shortages in Yorkshire, Nexter Recruitment, a specialist nursery recruitment agency, has proudly announced its official launch in Leeds.

Recent research findings have highlighted the pressing need for reliable nursery staffing solutions:

A study by the Early Years Alliance and TUC revealed that Yorkshire nurseries face difficulties in recruitment. The Yorkshire Post reported that some nurseries have been forced to limit places due to staff shortages. As the demand for free hours provisions increases, the UK is expected to require an additional 50,000 nursery professionals in 2024 and another 50,000 in 2025. Alarming statistics from Leeds University Business School indicate that a "majority" of nursery staff are contemplating leaving the profession.

Meet the Founder

Nexter Recruitment was founded by Nick Breeze, a seasoned professional in the nursery recruitment industry. Originally from Batley, Yorkshire, Nick spent 25 years in London, successfully running a nursery recruitment agency for 15 years before its sale in 2020. Now, he's returned to his hometown with a mission to bring specialized nursery recruitment services to Yorkshire.
